Nicole Kelly, BS - Chief Executive Officer
Nicole Kelly is the Chief Executive Office at Gulfcoast North AHEC. She grew up in Pasco County and now reside in her hometown, Dade City, with her husband and two children. She is a true Floridian, born and raised. Nicole has over 15 years of experience in the health promotion and chronic disease prevention field. Nicole received a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education from Florida State University and is an avid FSU Noles Fan. While at FSU, Nicole completed her internship with Big Bend AHEC which introduced her to the AHEC network. Nicole went on to work professionally under numerous health promotion grants at the Pinellas County Health Department for 6 years. She then found her way back to the AHEC family and has been with Gulfcoast North AHEC since 2013. Nicole was previously the Tobacco Program Manager at GNAHEC. She became a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist in 2013 through the Florida Certification Board and holds a National Certificate in Tobacco Treatment Practice which she received in 2018 from the NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. Nicole is the co-founder of the Wellness Council or Tampa Bay and serves as the Vice-President. Nicole is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the community by encouraging individual healthy lifestyle and behavior change and creating and implementing health policies.
