Gulfcoast North Area Education Center and UF/IFAS Extension are hosting the Community Action Poverty Simulation on Saturday, February 17th. The Simulation provides participants with the opportunity to assume the role of a low-income family member living on a limited budget. The program is divided into four 15-minute sessions, each of which represents one week in which participants must provide for their families and maintain their homes. The goal of the Simulation is to provide our community partners with a glimpse into the structural barriers, as well as some of the personal and emotional repercussions people in poverty fac
