Andrea Daigle

Andrea started with Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center (AHEC) as a Tobacco Cessation Specialist in June 2021. She facilitates tobacco cessation classes, partners with community groups, and attends civic meetings to promote tobacco-free communities, primarily in Pinellas County. Andrea has a passion for educating tobacco users on the health benefits of quitting and enjoys providing tips and tools to help them successfully quit tobacco. She also educates healthcare providers and health professions students about tobacco use and treatment to enhance their practices and education.

Andrea joined AHEC with eight years of experience in public health, including four years of working in tobacco prevention with a focus on youth. Andrea’s experience has prepared her to successfully educate community members on the important health impacts regarding tobacco use and cessation.

Andrea has many talents in addition to helping tobacco users quit! In her free time, she can be found decorating cakes, singing country music, or spending time with her adorable nephew.
